[cma-l] Nations & Regions Awards 2009 - Closing Date: 9th October 2009

The Radio Academy Nations & Regions Awards 2009 are an opportunity for
stations with a TSA under 300,000 to be recognised in their Branch and
to qualify for the 2010 Sony Radio Academy Awards Station of the Year.

The aim of the awards is to celebrate programming that caters for the
needs of a local or regional UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man
audience. Judging and awards presentations are organised by The Radio
Academy’s branches and will take place before the end of 2009.

The Awards are for stations with a potential adult listenership,
published TSA or editorial coverage area, of under 300,000. The Ofcom
supplied Measured Coverage Area will be accepted in exceptional
circumstances.

Each Branch will award one Nations & Regions Award to the station that
the judges feel demonstrated the most consistently outstanding output.

Entries may be made by Ofcom or similarly regulated stations,
including community radio stations, BBC, BFBS radio stations, and
stations that have been broadcasting on FM, AM or DAB between July 1st
2008 and June 30th 2009. Entrants must have been broadcasting
continuously for at least six months prior to the entry deadline of
9th October 2009.

There is an administration fee of £20 + VAT (£23).
