Ofcom has published its Radio Licensing Update for May 2009.

The section on community radio is reproduced below:

Community Radio

Licences issued in this period:

Service Name Licensee Location
Glastonbury FM Glastonbury FM CIC Glastonbury
Demon FM Demon FM Limited Leicester

Services which have ceased to be licensed (handed back or revoked) in
this period:

The following company was awarded a community radio licence in May
2007. It has informed Ofcom that the station will not go ahead.
Therefore Ofcom will not issue a community radio licence to:

Service Name Licensee Location
Ness Community Radio Limited Ness FM Inverness

Additional Licence changes:

KCC Live in Knowsley was awarded a community radio licence in February
2008, subject to a condition in the licence that annual income from
the sale of paid-for advertising or programme or station sponsorship
should not, when taken together, exceed 15% of total annual station
income. Ofcom has now agreed to vary the licence for KCC Live to
allow the station to carry remunerated advertising and or sponsorship
on the service subject to a maximum of 50% of total annual station
income.
