Hi

Some points to bear in mind for prospective applicants for licences in
the London area below:

a) Frequencies are very scarce in this area - more so than in any other.

b) However, applications are to be encouraged so that Ofcom has a good
gauge of interest in the area.

c) Applicants should consider applying for an AM licence in view of
frequency scarcity.

d) With _possible_ digital migration issues to consider in the longer
term, those stations who do have either an AM or FM licence will be
well placed for any potential digital switchover of radio.

Any applicants to the London licensing round are advised to keep
up-to-date with this mailing list, check the CMA website and perhaps
follow the Twitter feed for signposting to further information.

Best regards

Bill
