[cma-l] Community Media - Beating the Recession: CMA Conference & AGM

Dear all

Just to remind you that the CMA is holding its Conference on Saturday 
4th April in Leicester.

We have tried to keep this event as affordable as possible, so are 
charging only £20 for paid staff in community media projects and £5 for 
volunteers.

The Conference will be the first big chance for the sector to come 
together in almost two years.  In that time the number of community 
radio licences issued has grown from around 35 to almost 200 which is a 
real cause for celebration.  We continue to work hard on behalf of the 
community radio and community television sectors, as there is still a 
lot of work to do to ensure that the sector can thrive and develop even 
further.
