The aim of The Transformation Trust is to provide every young person -
no matter what their background - with the opportunities and
experiences that will help them identify and fulfil their potential.

The Trust will enable every young person to have access a rich range
of opportunities that currently may only be available to some.

Set against the backdrop of a new school environment delivered by the
Building Schools for the Future programme, projects funded will
support extra-curricula activities that take place in and around
school, ranging from the arts and sport through to mentoring and
careers-focused schemes. Over time, the work of The Trust will expand
into primary schools also.

While national measures and indicators are clearly important, the
success of The Transformation Trust will be measured by a more
positive experience of school and learning by individual students,
leading to improved prospects and brighter futures that reflect their
individual skills and talents

The trust aims to develop new skills, increase self-esteem and
confidence through extra-curricular activities in secondary schools
through sporting, cultural and mentoring projects. Visit the website
