Steve

Not sure "Volunteer produced radio" category would work in all cases as many
community stations, including ours employ presenters which are therefore not
volunteers.

How about a category for stations with a single 25 Watt transmitter!

Alan

Well done Jaqui and all involved in this meeting.

After reading the minutes, an instant thought springs to mind which will
enable a new award that encompasses the ideal of community radio almost
exclusively.

A 35th award, called "Volunteer produced radio" (catchy...) would
eliminate the vast majority of BBC and ILR stations.

Maybe the title needs a little tweaking, but I think that an award
category that is just for radio produced by a volunteer / team of
volunteers would help to open the awards up to our sector, and also
hospital and student radio.

Kindest Regards

Steve Suttie
