*Petition: Salzburg needs Radiofabrik. Radiofabrik needs Salzburg.*

Radiofabrik is the largest community Radio in western Austria.
Open access, media-related education, regional cover and international
networking are conceptual parts of the activities of Radiofabrik.
Radiofabrik is by far Austria’s most award winning community radio
– it received six media awards in 2008 alone.

At the same time, there is a huge lack of funding for the radio station,
first of all due to the non-action of the federal state of Salzburg, who
makes no effort to support Radiofabrik.

The staff of the radiofabrik and more than 260 programme-creators call
on you to help the community radio to draw public attention to their
seriously threatend financial situation. Please sign the petition
