[cma-l] Mediabox deadlines in 2010 - England only

Mediabox has various schemes to support young people 13-19 develop and
produce creative media projects for film, television, radio, online
and multi media platforms.

There are a number of schemes with deadlines coming up in 2010:

    * Mid Mediabox - Grants from £5,000 - £20,000

A mid-level grant open to established youth organisations that may or
may not have delivered media projects in the past. This grant can be
used to develop a new creative idea and/or to promote a completed
youth-led media project to a wider audience.

This scheme is open to established youth and/ or media focused organisations

Deadline: Submissions reopen on Friday 26 February 2010. The next
deadline is Thursday 8 April 2010.

    * Big Mediabox - Grants from £20,000 - £40,000

Big Mediabox is the largest grant, designed for organisations with a
strong track record of developing media projects with young people.
This grant can assist organisations to deliver new programmes that
allow a larger group of young people to work collaboratively. Match
funding of 40% of the total project cost is required, 20% of which
must be cash.

This scheme is open to established youth and/ or media focused
organisations. Please note partnership funding is required.

Deadline: The next deadline is Wednesday 20 January 2010.

    * Mix Mediabox - Grants from £5,000 - £20,000

Designed to reach organisations that bring together young people from
diverse economic backgrounds, faiths or geographic areas to work on a
media project. This grant enables young people to work with older
members of their community, to create media projects that encourage
communities to gain a better understanding of each other and promote
community cohesion.

Deadline: Submissions reopen on Monday 25 January 2010.The next
deadline Tuesday 9 March 2010.
