Dear Colleagues,

* Wondering how you can capture the volunteering spirit of the 2012
Games?

* Looking for a way to get people involved, wherever you're located?

Inspiration and Legacy from the 2012 Games provides a massive
opportunity to inspire people who haven't previously volunteered to get
involved.

Volunteering England, the volunteer development agency for England, and
online charity YouthNet, home of the Do-it website, have been funded by
The Office of the Third Sector to work on a project which will enable
all individuals inspired by the 2012 Games to find fulfilling, relevant
and local volunteering opportunities quickly and easily.

Over the next two years we will develop opportunities, particularly in
the areas of sport, culture and the environment. We want to work with
national and regional organisations across England, that are interested
in developing or supporting 2012 Games-inspired volunteering
opportunities. We will do this by enabling and supporting you to create,
promote and manage fulfilling volunteering opportunities that have been
2012 Games-inspired.
