Hi
At Sheffield Live we created multi channelling using an Audigy card by
using a modified KX driver, which released us from the Windows single
play. It also allows us to record and play simultaneously, and works
similar to JACK on FOSS software.

It meant that with Myriad we could use the cheap single channel
soundcards rather than get an expensive soundcard. This might resolve
your sound issues. Contact me if you want a copy of the driver.
