[cma-l] Lionheart Radio bidding for £50,000 - People's Millions

Alnwick's community radio station was still in the running to win
£50,000 yesterday (Tuesday) as Lionheart Radio had made it through to
the finals of ITV's People's Millions contest.

Plucky Lionheart had to square up to Allendale Creative Art & Media
Studio in order to win the cash.

If the station wins the money, chiefs plan to spend the grant on
creating an off-air training studio in another location in the town
centre for people who would like to pursue a career in broadcast
media.
