[cma-l] Sad news about Julie Hill

Dear all

Members and supporters of the Community Media Association may wish to 
know the sad news that Julie Hill, director
of Women's Radio Group, died from cancer last Saturday (5th July).

Throughout the years of her leadership of Women's Radio Group, she was 
an inspiration for
many women in community radio.

Julie was also a long-standing member of CMA Council for nine years from 
September 1995 to 2004 .

The funeral will take place on Monday (14th) in SW London.
