In response to feedback from some stakeholders, the BBC Trust has
extended the Public Value Assessment consultation period on the BBC's
local video proposal to 4 August 2008. Notice of this extension has
today been published on the Trust's website at

The Market Impact Assessment consultation period has also been extended
to the same date and notice of this extension is provided on Ofcom's
