As trailed just after Christmas, C-Cast hits the airwaves next Friday
(25th January) with 12 hours of climate change programming created by
young people from around the UK.

Led by the Woodcraft Folk - a national children's and youth organisation
- and supported by Preston FM, the broadcast is based at the Unicorn
Theatre in London, and will feature music, documentaries, debates with
experts, interaction and live sessions from a youth climate change
conference running alongside the broadcast.

Thanks to all of the stations who are already planning to support the
project by taking some of the broadcast live, providing content, or by
using C-Cast features within programmes during, before or after the day
itself. There are around 20 community radio projects currently getting
involved in some way or other!

It's not too late if your station or project wants to get involved too.
Full details of the schedule for the day are available now, along with
lots of other information, at www.preston.fm/c-cast - look for the
section called "Information for Partner Stations". If you are planning
to get involved, please let us know so that we can make sure your
involvement gets credited on the day.

Any questions - give us a call on 01772 880791.

All the best

Richard
