Hi

After years of events and in particular last summers rain our Sony 
VX2100Es are starting to grumble. Unfortunately what cost £1200 three 
years ago now costs £1800.

Has anyone any recommendations of models and suppliers. We're not 
wanting absolute broadcast stuff but nor do we want hobby vidcams.

Any suggestions on good rock solid tripods too?
