[cma-l] Ofcom publishes its December Media Literacy e-bulletin and Review of Ofcom's Media Literacy programme 2004-08

Ofcom has today published the latest edition of the Media Literacy
e-bulletin. In addition to articles on media literacy initiatives,
European developments and work in the Nations, there are also details
on new research reports and some important dates for your diary.

The e-bulletin also highlights the Review of Ofcom's Media Literacy
programme 2004-08.

The Review charts how Ofcom has successfully worked in partnership
with stakeholders in government, education, the media and
communications industry and the voluntary sector to deliver:

- a more coordinated approach to getting the promotion of media
literacy on the agenda of all stakeholders;
- added value to existing media literacy activity;
- the creation and development of new media literacy initiatives; and
- a comprehensive programme of research including a series of audits
of media literacy across the UK.
