You are invited to attend a Local TV seminar to provide an update for
the sector on the policy, economic, technical and market research
aspects of the work being undertaken in relation to Ofcom’s Digital
Dividend Review (DDR).* *This briefing will take place immediately
before the DDR statement briefing taking place from 2pm to 4pm.
As you are aware, Ofcom is currently examining how the digital dividend
spectrum that will be released as a result of the switch to all-digital
television can best be awarded to maximise its benefits to society as a
whole.
Our policy statement in relation to the DDR, published on 13 December
2007, set out a number of decisions in relation to future use of
spectrum for local TV.
